Again, I apologize for the rudeness of my original comment, but I did want to point something out to you: people aren’t statues during conversations. The next time you have a conversation with somebody, watch what they do. Even if they’re just talking into a webcam, they do things- they lean, they shift their position, they look at things, they gesture, cross their arms, touch their faces…
Simply put, they move than just their eyes and their mouths.
You’re right. That position isn’t present in the rest of your art, and it probably isn’t necessary that the characters move around that much in the blog.
I apologize.
Didn’t lash out. And your criticism isn’t true anyway. Maybe for this blog, most of the answers are drawn head on. Not because i’m lazy, but for convenience and simplicity. If you can’t accept that some people do different things than others, and for different reasons than you think, maybe the internet isn’t the place for you. Claiming that I used a “you do it better” reply is bs. Never told you to try and do it better. I was explaining and poking fun about you not doing what I do, and that doing what you think will make me seem less lazy is entirely pointless. Just because I replied to you like that doesn’t mean i’m hung up on one person not liking my stuff, and you have some ego to think your opinion is all that special. I can take criticism and I get a lot of people who don’t enjoy what I do but it’s not like I can’t defend or explain myself. After all, my opinion is the opposite of yours so why not throw it out there? You could have just as easily not responded to my reply too you know.
No, lashing out at criticisms. All I did was state my opinion. You were under absolutely no obligation to respond, but you did, and you went with a “Let’s see you do better” reply.
Being able to take criticism is kind of an important part of being an artist. And if you can’t handle it, then the Internet may not be the place for you.
Explaining and defending myself? Alrighty.
Yeah, this you’re doing right here? Don’t do that. It makes you look petty and insecure.
It’s easy to say that i’m using the same front direction all the time. Do you run a blog where you answer things for fun? Yeah, finding unnecessary poses for this kind of thing is relatively pointless. This blog is for fun, not to show off unnecessary poses. Lemme have a character upside down and bend over backwards when addressing an ask with a different pose each post. Doesn’t work like that hun. It’s fast and it gets the job done and I enjoy it.
He’s like “Damn it, you made me single again.”
He does look more unimpressed then angry.
