It actually does work at many points.
 
-Order (Harmony) vs. Chaos
 
-The point of view state run by a staggeringly powerful immortal who some consider divine.
 
-Said immortal had an ancient conflict with a beloved close relative that caused them great pain to end.
 
-The immortal has a group of close knit disciples that they regard as their greatest champions in matters of great import to their realms.
 
-The presence of an immaterial dimension through which some ascend to a higher order of existence. (Albeit Alicorn ascension and Daemon Princehood are only surface level comparisons.)
 
-Schizophrenic technology levels between locales.

Actually posted the pic I’ve been working on here. I just need more practice; not done much drawing for a long time, although I’m fairly pleased with how the Warhound came out.  
I’ll have to open an account at fimfiction to get the story out there when it’s a bit nearer finished.

You think it wouldn’t, but it does.

I’m just trying to stir up a bit more interest in this crossover, more in the ope of some fresh artwork.  
I’m trying to do a scene from the fanfic I’m writing at the moment (not on any websites yet, although if someone could suggest somewhere to drop this I would), and it’s only around a third written.  
The scene in question is actually in the comments section of that picture with the main 6 facing off against the warhound.  
My only problem with drawing this scene at the moment is I can’t seem to get Twilight’s wings to look right.

It was unfortunate how the Spacebattles forum tore itself apart because of that. (the Hogz were my idea, which makes me feel pretty responsible for the whole debacle). However, Ponyhammer wouldn’t have gotten this far if it wasn’t for them, so I still try to give them props where possible.

We tried so hard to keep the idea going but in the end it was a (not)civil war over which would be the Orkz expy….Hogz or Humenz, everything fell apart because of that. :(

This reminds me; whoever proposed the bright idea to force-merge all types of Power Armour into “powered exoskeleton” should be punched in the face with a power fist.  
Thankfully Terminator Armor is unsullied.

Chain saw horn would be a face covered in blood or full of splinters if used for its intended purpose.

Well, so long as the chainsaw loops around the side and back up it can totally work.
 
It’s just not practical without a helmet.

Frankly crossing a series with another works.  
But if the result is good is a BIG point of YMMV.
