From a grammatical stand point Pink Eyes is kind of a monstrosity. It’s (intentionally) filled with lots of memes and broken sentences. Though the story itself isn’t bad, but it takes some resolve to keep reading after some of the particularly well-misspelled sections.
And if we’re throwing around recommendations, I’d have to say that Guise of Chaos is fairly good. Although the ending is kind of horrible because (mild spoiler) it leaves too many loose ends.
For me, it’d probably be a close race between Project Horizons and Murky Number Seven. Though at the same time, I haven’t read Heroes nor Pink Eyes. Those four form the most well-known and most beloved group of FoE side-stories.

Well, in that case, what’s the best spinoff? I admit that Horizons has (major) plot and character issues, but in terms of actual quality of writing, it’s probably the best spinoff I’ve read.
Okay. Most overrated.
>tfw someone hasn’t read Project Human
“Worst”? You clearly haven’t read many FoE spinoffs.
