Profile/concept Art in progress for General Darkwing.
General Darkwing is King Sombra’s right-hand woman, and leads his entire army of the Crystal Empire. She, and her band of bat ponies are directly responsible for resurrecting him, and putting him back on the throne.
As such, she became a member of his royal court, proven to be a loyal ally and was appointed as his general for warfare. It is interesting to point out that besides Twilight Sparkle, she’s the only pony allowed to refer him as just “Sombra”, when not in public.
She and her herd of bat ponies are a “newly discovered species”, but many question if Darkwing herself is even a pony at all…

Apparently the “motherhood hairstyle” (from what I’ve seen from quite a few post-offspring pics here) is contagious.
Plus even the bloodthirsty would mellow out after being with two adorable royal foals after a bit.
