Description
The fate of the Crystal Empire’s legacy lies in the hooves of two powerful mare, and the foals that stretch each of their girths. Will one heir take the empire, will it be disputed past their births, dual ruled like Equestira, or some outsider party that each of them can rally their armies towards.
Decent point, though the Crystal Empire might operate on oddball archaic rules of inheritance, having been Sombra’ed for a couple centuries & all. And for all we know, Chryssie’s just negotiating as a diversion whilst her infiltrators get set for Operation Heartbreak II(TM).

I kinda imagine the two being so crazy to settle the dispute that they send the babies to fight in an “arena”.
Which just leads to them playing with each other with adorable coos, and Shining hugging both of them in his forelegs.
