My Little Pony always wins in sibling arguments.
I read the comic strip actually, but yeah I kinda agree the tone of the show didn’t match the comic much.
The show was pretty bad. The main family from the comic strip was so boring they ended up basing the show around their neighbor, who was an obvious ripoff of Homer Simpson.

To me the show should of been it’s own thing about the Bittermans, as when they where on the screen it was better then all the other stuff, mostly form the carzy stuff that would happen sometimes.
I also think that they set the show too early and didn’t even put in the characters that made the strip funny.
I mean it’s the show had it turned for a comic about family life and the raising of kids into a dime a dozen animated sitcom, it’s shitty compared to the writing of the strip.
I recall reading them musing on just sending them to camp and having them come back as teenagers if they wanted to retool it, but I think it would almost be too much like “Zits” then.
You never read the comic I guess, it’s barely anything like the strip.
It doesn’t have what made the strips so good.

They are still aging them just slower now.
The show had barely anything to do with the comic.
Also, I’m still surprised this strip is still going. I guess they never moved on their promise to age the kids up considerably. The third one is older than I remember though.
Yeah, the Dilbert show was amazing.
I only saw one, or two eps of it, but I didn’t think it was that bad personally.
Though, I will say the “Dilbert” show was better.
