Person: a coochie coochie coo-oo!
Well some of that sounds good, but at the same time, like, stuff is always HAPPENING, and it’s mostly monsters, and… mostly stopped by the Mane Six, or INVOLVING them directly in some way.
Being a background pony in Ponyville would probably be… legitimately terrifying: You’re basically hoping that the Mane Six save you a good 90% of the time.
My ideal pony game would be like a complete combination of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, and cartoonish adventure games like Mario Galaxy and Banjo Kazooie, but with a more open-ended concept like Fallout or Red Dead Redemption.
Like, the game starts and you create your own character. Then you move to Ponyville and you xan just sort of do whatever you want. Start a farm, build a house, go on an adventure in the Everfree Forest fighing monsters, help out townsfolk, whatever.
A verson of The Sims with ponies would be cool too, but I don’t think the evil bastard in me could resist going full Seanbaby on their adorably fuzzy little asses.
Well now you’re moving into more platforming elements, which also would likely mean choosing a character for the story-mode.
Personally, I think the lazy route would be the most likely: Puzzle game like Yoshi’s Cookie with 16-bit moving ponies of glory… shrugs
How about one that’s just plain silly and revels in it’s strangeness like Tomba! or Rayman Origins?
Very light adventuring and RPG elements…
… I dunno… I can at least see IT, but the appeal is less than visible to my mind’s eye… then again, I’ve never been into those sorts of games. shrugs
Pony-amie where you pet them play little mini games and feed them cupcakes.
Something like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, but with some very light adventuring and RPG elements. That’d be the fucking shit.
Yeah You right.
I’d hate that… the heck genre of game would even WORK for that?
I’m going to hold by breath for a straight-up current-Gen videogame on consoles and/or PC.
