It starts that way. Eventually, I stopped because it just got insane, and not in a good way - Celestia is placed in the right and humans are placed in the wrong despite Celestia pushing a war between them and being absolutely ruthless, brutal, and misanthropic.

I thought it was a magic shield. In the one story I read that mentioned it, two men were killed when they tried to drive through it. And the ponies just slowly expanded it.
I thought it was about Equestria appearing on Earth; the magical radiation is enough to kill people unless they convert and turn into a pony, but therein they’re considered enemies of humankind, which starts a war between humans who want the ponies out and the ponies who want to change everyone.
Not by my understanding.
