Baking is always a good third option, and certainly more convenient than deep-frying.

Nice. I’d like to see that. And while we’re on the topic of ponified mythological horses, what about a little eight-legged pony version of Sleipnir?
The deep fryer is good for corn dogs, but leaves them a little greasier than I like.
I prefer to bake them in the oven or toaster oven.
@Da5ch
I’m adding that to my list of drawings that I want to do but will probably never get around to.
I wonder if Shining is the only “confirmed” carnivorous pony…certainly less threatening than “Cupcakes” Pinkamena, that’s for sure. Still, it’s a little unnerving to imagine anypony eating meat. I wonder how Twilight felt after visiting the human world in Equestria Girls and possibly tasting human cuisine, including meat…I bet after turning back into a mare, the poor girl will never look at pigs and cows the same way again ._.
That said, I am waiting until some brony with a knowledge of Greek mythology ponifies the Mares of Diomedes :P
I burned the corndog because my chosen cooking method was deep-frying, which I hardly ever do…hence the reason I left my dinner in the hot oil for a bit too long.
I know the preferred method of cooking ready-made frozen meals is simply microwaving them, but I personally hate microwaves, because A. I wanted the authentic texture and flavor of a deep-fried corndog like the kind you can get at carnivals, and B. I have a relatively-large phobia, or at least a strong aversion to microwaves in general No, it’s not because I’m a paranoid dumbass who things they’ll make my food radioactive (anyone with even the slightest knowledge of EM radiation knows microwaves and gamma rays are on completely-opposite ends of the spectrum,) it’s because the idea of being microwaved alive is the scariest, most disturbing and most sickening thing I could imagine. Watching the damn Cyclops System scene from the original Gundam SEED, and the microwave hallway at the end of MGS4 both pretty much made me hate all microwaves with a passion, and it certainly doesn’t help matters that I had a nightmare at the end of last year where I was forced to watch one of my beloved OCs get graphically cooked to death in a giant microwave oven, inflating and popping gorily and all. I’ll never, ever, EVER trust those damn things ever again…they’re like tiny, metallic, cube-shaped spawns of Satan.
That and being a bit of a gourmet foodie, I just associate microwaved food with very poor food quality, and that weird, cardboard-like flavor reheated meat gets.
Ordering Pizza.
That reminds me, 7 minutes and it’s free!

By eating the people that know how to cook, of course.
Sadly, we’ve yet to gain their sweet, sweet knowledge.
you have been warned!
How do you people feed yourselves?!
Seriously, I’ve burnt the brick ramen before.
I forgot to add water.
I fucked up Minute Rice once. I never lived it down.
A friend of mine lit popcorn on fire yesterday.
Pretty sure that it originated in a Friendship is Witchcraft video.
The VA for him confirmed that Shining Armor’s love of corndogs from the comics, exists in the show.
How do you burn a corndog?
You are bad at cooking.
