I’m more partial to the ‘82 “Here Comes Garfield” Garfield, (who’s older then me) who looks pretty much the same as ’79-‘80 Garfield but with a round nose instead.
I think I liked him better when he’d usually be on all-fours, you never see him like that anymore.
1979 and 1980 Garfield was the cutest and best for me.
Actually, the ’79 Garfield had bigger cheeks, and a “T” shaped nose. The ’78 one had really tiny eyes, was fatter, and surprisingly looks nothing like Garfield today.
It’s also the 1979 Garfield. And the 1980 one. And the 1981 one.
