You’re comparing blackface with scantily clad women in video games. Blackface had malicious/racist intent most of the time. Sexy women in games are included to appeal to teenage boys. Immature, but not malicious by a long shot.
Most people are not crying “censorship”. They’re crying for a balanced debate without cherry picking and purposefully ignoring any male counterpart of mentioned female tropes, but judging from the image linked by Cyborg_pony that’s not going to happen anytime soon.

Right, and I’m sure if someone made a game that relied on racist caricatures of Africans, that would mean they would have no right to complain because it’s not for them. Oh wait, that’s Resident Evil 4, and they did.
“Target demographic” is nonsense argument, dude. It doesn’t matter who the target demographic is, because constantly repeating these same ideas over and over again to that demographic can color their perceptions of outsiders that they don’t otherwise engage with on a daily basis (which could also potentially be solved by encouraging people to have more platonic friendships with the opposite gender, but that’s another issue.) I can guarantee you that everyone has at least one misconception about the world because they haven’t been exposed to it outside of media tropes and cliches.
And history has shown time and again that the people who cry “censorship” over this suggestion are in the wrong. There’s a reason blackface is no longer socially acceptable in American media: people simply criticized its widespread use and creators realized of their own free will that it’s insensitive and promoted racist ideas about black people. That’s miles different from the stuff that we put up with from the “murder simulators” who tried to forcibly control which games could even be sold by attempting to shut down the market for games they don’t like altogether.
I can assure you though that the worst-case scenario if feminist critics get their way is that you might have to choose your gender in Call of Duty Spinoff #162947, or that you might see beach volleyball games with attractive guys in Speedos in addition to attractive women.
Anita Sarkeesian is not by any means perfect, I’ll give you that. Her arguments have been picked apart so many times by now that it’s completely old news, a lot of it of it legitimate, but the a lot more of it just as nonsensical, if not even more so.
And that’s why I stand with the overall message of her work: if not the exact argument, because I’m entirely convinced that people like Thunderf00t will not look good in 30 years.

Anita also confuses Plot with premise, such is the case for why she says Mario is not only sexist but instills patriarchy because “The princess was kidnapped. Go save her.” which she says Mario(you. the player) are morally better then Bowser who kidnaps Peach for his own gain.
Not being in the target demographic does justify not having content tailored for you. It doesn’t matter if it’s lazy. That’s the game designers choice if they want to spend less time on the story and more time on gameplay or vice versa.

She has made many twitter posts on the many videos as well as people questioning her on twitter or FB, just to block them and make accusations, even to go as far as to make a flowchart for her followers to show any question or critique as trolling

This is a guy who repeatedly spouts arguments that are so horrendously bad that you really can’t argue that they’re any better than Anita’s
For example, in his “takedown” of the first Tropes vs. Women video, he makes arguments like “lazy storytelling that relies on sexist cliches is justified because the games were made to simply not to appease feminists make to make a profit”, as though that justifies lazy characterization and storytelling in an industry that’s increasingly capable of engaging and original storytelling, and “hospitals are objectification because they reduce women as objects to be acted on”, even though Anita’s criticisms are about fiction and she is in no way suggesting that it’s wrong to help a woman in real life.
And that’s not even getting into the whole “men are physically stronger than women so it’s only natural to have them weaker than women in games”, even though the Damsel vid at no point suggests that she was talking about physical strength, and that there are other factors in overall strength such as cunning, agility, intelligence, or skill. Or, you know, that video games are fiction and therefor free from the restrictions of reality.
There are plenty of solid counterarguments to be made to Anita Sarkeesian’s videos, but they sure as hell ain’t gonna come from Thunderf00t.
I wouldn’t say that Anita herself claims videos disagreeing with her are harassment, it’s just that her supporters pretend they don’t exist.
No. They’re not.
The problem is: Those videos and all other criticism are ignored by the media at large and Anita goes on claiming that anyone saying she’s wrong is labeled harassment.
Plus: At least the people making the documentary are actually speaking to people and having more then their own opinion as the one and only, as well as showing how they’re spending the money not just saying “Give us x amount of money!” and not seeing anything for several months at a time.
Wait, the dudes in Cyborgs post were Redpillers?

There have been a few, actually. The co-founder of the Escapist issued a public statement saying that they do, in fact, take journalistic integrity seriously and apologizing for the inflammatory language of their contributors.
Hell, even Moviebob of all people has issued an apology for the way he’s conducted himself, and he’s pretty much dead last in the list of people you’d ever expect to back down. (He is, by his own admission, “one arrogant son of a bitch.”)
But again, ingroup favoritism means we’re less likely to notice our care because we take more pride in our own collective identity and are will this pat ourselves on the back we do admit our community has a problem.
As someone who has had something of a stake in both “sides” for quite a while now (my mother was a journalist for the Washington Monthly and an active feminist in the 80s), I can kind of see that we have a tendency to treat the “enemy” the same way that they treat us: we overlook the assholes in our own group while ignoring or glossing over the good people in the other group
