This came from the prompts of a 30 minute challenge, being “the CMC + marching band, OKAYGO!”.
I was between shifts at work at the time, with only paper and pencil, so the sketch was completely from memory with the only reference used to remember what their mane styles looked like (i hadn’t drawn them in a while). Then I cleaned it up and finished it off, cos i really liked it…
If it is somehow familiar to something else, it’ll be either pure coincidence, or from a memory so faded into the background that I don’t recall ever seeing it..
