Yea, but those are revenant versions of them so of course they would swear loyalty to Quan Chi (Look what happened when Raiden managed to reverse the spell for Scorpion, Sub-Zero (I still don’t get why he didn’t come back as a robot considering the last game…) and Jax. They didn’t want to butcher him).

And when he discovered the truth, he felt bad about murdering the wrong man (even if said man was a complete dick) and dedicated himself to protecting the guy’s younger (and far more heroic) brother.
 
He also started targeting Quan Chi, and there’s no way you can say that guy doesn’t deserve to be tormented by a fire-powered vengeance-fueled ninja wraith.

Most recent one is “SSv3.xcf” – it’s got several layers you can turn on or off depending on what you want, and I cleaned up some stuff from my previous ones (like the clouds and the mountains background layers).
 
I also included a font file called “Anime Ace 2,” which seems to be the same font they use in the comics. (I included the OpenType font, but you can probably find other versions.) It’s “animeace2bb_ot.zip” in the same folder.

Yeah, it was all a big set-up. His is the closest to a tragedy story MK has. There’s a reason he’s official referred to as Neutral.
