The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Fellow students, it has often been said that I like music.

Friends, I like music.

No, friends, I LOVE music!

I love concerts. I love recording studios. I love album releases. I love hobo bands, I love, I love album sales and chart-toppers!

Music in weddings, in parties, in fairs, in memorials, at coronations, at galas, at games, in the Crystal Empire, I love every place that music can be heard upon these worlds.

I love blasting the eardrums of hapless instructors to pieces with the BLAT of a badly tuned saxophone.

My heart leaps with joy whenever a vocalist invites the audience to sing along and they deafen the arena.

And there is nothing like a heavy metal act using their growling vocals to make your bones tremble. And the feeling that comes when an audience member loses their shit and headbangs so violently he pulls every tendon in his neck, is such an exquisite feeling.

Like when Pinkie Pie brandishes her mishmash of instruments and draws the attention of everyone with the clamoring of her musical contraption. It moves me deep within my heart to watch young ones in awe of the raucous noise generated by whatever that thing is.

The sound of “The Rains of Castamere” playing while the Starks are being murdered is an irresistible pleasure. And there is nothing more arousing, than the sounds made by the harps and lutes, strings shrieking as they’re nearly drowned out by the ponderous drummers!

When a boy-band of pitiful no-talents makes their final stand with nothing but half-hearted rapping, only to have their song about some lost love smashed by a masterfully trained duo performing a Righteous Brothers tune, I’m in ecstasy.

I love it when my bandmates are humiliated by a well-trained Rainboom act. It’s so sad to see groups and bands that were supposed to win, being left in tears, their awards and accolades given to another, with the trophies.

I love to be defeated at the last minute by the Deus Ex Machina of the Day. The humiliation, as my allies scramble in terror from the Harmonic MacGuffin coming after them.

Students… All I ask for is music, a performance so grand as to make Tartarus itself tremble. Students, I ask you as fellow musicians at heart, what is it you really want? Do you wish for further music as I do? Do you wish for a wild and exuberant concert? A concert whose music is built upon blood, sweat, and tears? Do you ask for music to sweep in like a tempest, leaving not even your faculty and staff un-exhausted by the wildness!?

Very well. Then music is what you shall have. We are a polished act, ready to out-perform all who oppose us, with our voices. But… After enduring so long waiting for our chance, for us, a simple “ordinary” concert will no longer be sufficient. We need a MASSIVE performance! A concert beyond any other that man’s history has ever known!

We are but a single group… The remnants of a banished race now numbering no more than three strong. However, I believe that each of us is worth several hundred of you pathetic nonentities! We represent a force that could easily outperform every philharmonic in history! It is time for us to strike back at the ones who failed to take us seriously and are now susceptible to our tunes. Let’s drag them to the stage unwittingly and remind them just who we are! We will remind them of what it feels like to face defeat before an audience. We will remind them of the way tears fill their eyes when they lose the competition. We will remind them, that there is more savage ambition and heartless drive than dreamt of by those who believe them good and pure.

Our song-act of three wicked sirens will reduce your competition to tears. Yes, my students! Soon, Canterlot’s screaming vocalists will cause the heavens to tremble! I have brought you all a concert just as I promised I would! Time for our favorite act! Time for our final victory!

At last, the sirens have taken your school and are gathering their energy! Attention students of Canterlot High, this is a message from your Queens:

Students, let’s have a Battle!
