@kassarc16
That isn’t how canon works son. They only info we have on the wonderbolts says “military”. Your theory, while good headcanon, is just that, headcanon.
@The Smiling Pony
Or that stallions are larger and generally stronger than mares. So if you want an army that kicks plot regularly, you use mostly stallions. If you want an army that tears through enemy ranks like starving pitbulls through a nursery one week a month, but complains tearfully about their hoofacures and gets overrun the rest of the time, you use mares.
@Background Pony #6F71
I beg to differ in at least one instance: Equestria’s military is made up of stallions, and only stallions. What that implies, however, I cannot tell.
Pretty stupid, but I lol’ed over “disenfranchised”.
Clearly the Franchisocracy and its collaorators, the fran and the ali, are the ones who systematically keep everyone else like griffons and mules and ponies who identify as mules down. It’s why OCs don’t get action figures.
Don’t forget the air blade maneuver which trimmed his spines. If he hadn’t ducked, it probably would’ve taken off his head!
So basically like the Blue Angels? :P
They’re just not the most competent military unit…
Captain Spitfire still disagrees.
They’re based on the Blue Angels. The Blue Angels are still part of the Navy despite being best known for their air shows.
Huh, I thought all the other non-military showing of them in the show was canon. My bad.

They may have started as or been one in the past, but I see no indication the current Wonderbolts are military.
I have no words. I can’t tell if the misogyny and lack of knowledge about equines is satirical or not and that scares me.
@Ammit5
Which went swimmingly… tbh that felt like if the local football team decided to combat an alien invasion by tackling them and got splattered.
Don’t forget the Wonderbolt air raid on Spikezilla.
General Firefly, Admiral Fairweather, Colonel Purple Dart, Admiral Fairy Flight, General Flash, and Commander Easyglider beg to differ.
I haven’t seen evidence that they are a martial organization; all I see points to them being celebrities and athletes.
The living fuck son?

True. Let me specify then: The Royal Guard is solely made up of stallions.
Except the Wonderbolts are part of the military, so that’s canonically incorrect.
Same thing it implies “in real life”: males are cannon fodder and expendable.

Could you elaborate, please? Some better insight into what exactly you’re saying there could go a long way.
But it doesn’t matter. Simply the “appearance” of “privilege” is enough to prove it, and “oppression”, in this theory.
And here we GO!
