Wow, they really have reduced the prices a lot! I remember, back when I played this, all the ponies still cost hundreds of gems (including ponies that were required for the game’s story), and it took several weeks of playing to collect even a dozen gems, let alone the hundreds they asked for.
 
The money-grabbing was so incredibly blatant and shameless, that the MLP game was often cited as an example of the worst excesses of in-app purchases. I think GameLoft even got in some legal trouble, when a little girl cost her parents hundreds of pounds by playing her supposedly “free” game, and they sued for reparations.

It’s so weird how, in the app, all the ponies have their eyes on the sides of their heads. One of the many problems with converting 2D characters to 3D, I guess.

Damn it Diamond Tiara, stop being cute. You’re disappointing all the bronies who hate you with a burning rage.
