“The Equus Colossus is immune to weapons up to and including 37mm guns and suffers only minor injury from the 50mm guns. Before any armour is added. Their effectiveness at literally crushing pillboxes and armoured vehicles is immense.”

“Wait, vat is zat?!”

“Mein gott, ist ein giant pony! Lauft, Lauft, grab all ze weapons ammunition and schnitzel you can carry we’ve got to get out of here!!!”

Allied forces casually walk through Normandy meeting no resistance.

D-Day is renamed P-Day in honor of the Large Equine Intimidator units which helped make it one of the safest military operations in history.

@Agent Tasmania
It used the same chassis as the M4A2 Sherman with less armour to make it a little faster. The 3 inch gun was better than the Sherman’s original 75mm gun, but almost the same as the 76mm gun introduced in 1944. Since the M10 was mostly useless in its intended role, many ended up serving as assault guns for the infantry later in the war.

By the way, the picture above shows a practice landing at Slapton Sands in the UK.

Ah, the Landing Ship, Pony (LSP). I don’t think they built many of these.

PS: That’s a M10 tank destroyer, not a Sherman.
