I certainly never meant to imply that everyone who downvoted it was racist; sorry about that. I still suspect it’s a minor factor in the somewhat more lopsided downvote-to-upvote ratio, but judging from the very cursory search I performed it looks like people mostly upvote images like this if they like the human that’s involved, and otherwise it’s ignored or downvoted.
