So, the equestrian public, who live under the reign of two monarchs (diarchs?), who all have better living conditions than any other known nation with active supreme rulers, and who are provided more personal and political freedoms then other people are in many modern democracies… Can’t stand, nay, can’t believe that one of their rulers doesn’t like tea, and outright reject her personal taste and opinion in the matter, going as far as to pressurize and guilt-trip her (as evident here)…

I’d like to think this is parodying the current populace’s reaction towards generally meaningless news associated with the famous, like that one time a British politician looked a bit weird when he bit into a sandwich and some newspaper made it a front page news story.
