GIVE ME YOUR FACE!!!

Shimmer: YOU PICKED THE WRONG DIMENSION!!!
Shimmer: Oh, that? It was from some stupid movie i saw today that had robots that turn into cars and them they thrash at wach other.
Twilight: OK….
I cannot even begin to speculate on what he was thinking.
and he knows the devastator model keeps melting the PCs animating it so why even push through with it (it explains the short screentime but not much else)
Yeah, he went on filming without a script. And the results were exactly what you’d expect.
ah! i interpreted your comment as ‘they should’ve used the cartoon designs instead’. Most of the detractors i’ve encountered keep pointing out the designs as if it’s the biggest flaw in their eyes. IIRC ‘revenge of the fallen’ technically has no writers in it (it was done during the writer’s strike), but bay kept on filming
No, I mean it just makes me think “I could be watching Beast Wars right now instead of this.” The visuals aren’t my problem, the writing is. When Rescue Bots has better scripts than the giant summer blockbusters, someone somewhere failed at their job.
it depends. some people wish they use the g1 character models for the movies but they do no specify to FIX the characterizations (meaning g1 bumblebee pees on agent simmons, g1 optimus demanding faces, g1 starscream dies like a chump at DoTM and g1 ironhide dies from cosmic rust)
Yeah, but it still makes it hard for me to not wish I was watching one of the cartoon versions instead.
i know but i can live with those (mostly), mainly it’s a reminder of me wishing that transformers warfare would be more ‘realistic’ that i failed to realize that it leaves to little or no character development (mainly it’s the decepticons who are in the receiving end of no characterization cannon fodder. even the named ones barely have no characterization).
Oh, there’s plenty of other problems, like the lack of characterization for most of the characteres, particularly the robots, and those little moments of “humor” that just make you cringe.
that’s the biggest flaw of the transformers movie sequels, they have something that either contradicts the first movies or snarls the continuity even more
@DJ1107
Isn’t it easier to be the best thing in something if it’s crap? I mean you have less competition, right?
@Background Pony #BF76
…Which ones?
“prepare to be driven like never before…BY THE MAESTRO”
It’s John Turturro. He’s easily the best thing in anything including crap.
You know, stupid as most of that movie may be, moments like that still stick in my head. It’s a good thing.
Twilight: stop saying that.
