Description

My original intent for drawing Amira in the first place was to get her to be noticed; actually my original intentions here on the Booru aside from poking at public silliness (the prim pony toy controversy on Yahoo, remember Striplestia?), is to give underrated ponies a little push. And I believe I’ve accomplished that to some extent, and since I’m drawing a comicbook, I would like to continue Amira’s momentum by giving the Bronies here a chance to draw her themselves.

This is the Original Design before the revamp you’ve seen recently because my current design is waaay too tedious for the average person.

If there’s anything unclear, let me know.

1.) Draw a circle
2.) Divide into thirds in the direction you want the muzzle to point
3.) Draw the head lines, the neck and ear.
4.) Make a box about 1/2 the size of the head in length in the middle of the circle (you can guesstimate) and draw her eye which is of the Rarity-type, think a pointy lemon or the Sprite logo. She has eye shadow like Rarity too.
5.) Draw the mane.

The last drawing on the lower-left was free handed, and the things that make Amira Amira were added too like the head drape, neck drape, and muzzle-belt thing.

It’s not necro, it’s a comment. These aren’t threads, they’re images. People can comment on them whenever they like.

You seem to have trouble differentiating the two. Hope that helps.

You dont need two lines crossing through the circle for this, that’s just overflowing stuff and forcing you to rely more on slaving after a set of parameters. Remove the lower line and keep the upper one, that way you know where the tip of the nose is, and you know where the top of the eye is, meaning you can draw out the muzzle and expression with no problems at all.
