Rainbow carries almost every conversation hepartakes in. The only reason for Bulk beeing on the team is him beeing a pegasus and some resemblance of an athlete. The only reason for him existing is for comic relief and cheap laughs. Fluttershy is in it for Rainbow Dash.
Yes in Rainbow Falls they actually interact for 2 or 3 lines but on a 3 person team thats still puny.
It does not defy my contrived and pointless standpoint in the least.
They spent the majority of the whole Equestria Games arc training and competing together. On a three person team where the third, Dash, was largely uninvolved with what they were doing together.
As for how much did they talk? I dunno an exact word count, probably four or five lines. More than Rarity’s and Twilight’s parents have been shown talking, or interacting, or even existing, combined.
How many words did they share? Also they both appeared in one episode they did not spend time together.
Contrived and pointless. Which is why they had two episodes where they spent the majority of their time together last seasons.

Well, besides shipping being mainly pointless in itself(hence why people do it), FB and FC are actually way less contrived than FM, albeit in entirely differing ways.
It means that I thought Fluttermac was already the most contrived and pointless pairing possible, and then people came up with Fluttercord and this. From self-insert(FM) over pity(FC) to plain grotesque(FB).
