The last time we didn’t have new pony in Nov/Dec was in 2009. Didn’t think 2014 would be “that” year too.
My guess is that at this rate, season 5 premieres in February, they air the first 13 episodes, then put it on a four-month summer hiatus, then air the remaining 13 episodes.
Or… they could just air the episodes they’ve finished. Like they did on seasons 1 and 2. They weren’t fully finished yet when they premiered and we had to wait 2-3 weeks occasionally. Now it seems they’ve committed to this strange “FULL STRAIGHT NON-BRAKES NON-STOP WEEKLY 26-EPISODE PONY TRAIN EXTRAVAGANZA, AT ANY COST”.
@Itsthinking
We know the episodes for S5 were scripted-finished earlier this year. We’ve got tweets from Meghan on those points. (RR was written out last summer, as Meghan called it her summer project).
I will say that the fact Hasbro wanted to pull out of the Hub might have caused part of the delay - it would make no sense to start the S5 run on the Hub only to have the fate of the season unknown if there was a change of ownership. I would believe now that Discovery and Hasbro have defined the control of Discovery Family, that Hasbro can now affirm they will have their pony block and can run S5 through without concern. But this is likely a secondary issue to getting all the episodes in the can.
Why do devs always put the season? Why not the month? Dont they know that it’s not the same season in every part of the world? What if if someone doesn’tknow when a season starts? gees
Dude, that toy ad at the end was cheesy and out of place and you know it.
To the show: Great Spectacle
To the majority of the fandom: Happiness while poking fun of plotholes
To the minority of the fandom: FANRAGE BLOODBATH
It’s gonna be in stereoscopic 3D.

Edited because: Rule #7
Marriage or war?
Now I just have to wait for Xenoblade Chronicles X to get a date.
Re-writes and or re-shoots.

So? Says little about the show. Whatever.
That sudden toy thing at the end is a pretty damn blatant advertisement.
Just air the shit online where your target audience of children watches anyway.
@Ichijoe
Beat that horse.
Waiting for the Mr. Poniator animation of this ad just because of that.

Basically, so that they have a six month window of fuck up
