The word you’re looking for is “egotistical.” Also, I’ve noted your penchant for doing such things…
… it’s just that when you’ve gone off on such tangents I’ve agreed with you ninety percent of the time, so I haven’t said anything.;)
That’s why I decided not to do it after having posted that comment; I realized, “Wait, that’s kind of egoist.”
Well now if that isn’t egoist as fuck. Trust me, you aren’t that interesting.
They might have realized this.
…I think I just pulled a TexasUberAlles.
THAT’S EXACTLY MY POINT. Shining Armor barely interacts with ANY of the characters he’s supposed to be close to. Heck, ever since “The Crystal Empire,” the writers seem to have been going out of their way to prevent Shining Armor and Cadance from ever sharing screentime together or even acknowledging that they’re married. And as I already mentioned, “Three’s a Crowd” didn’t even MENTION him. All it would’ve taken was something like, “Sorry your brother couldn’t come, Twilight, but somepony has to take care of the Empire. I doubt he would’ve enjoyed the Starswirl the Bearded exhibit anyway.” It would’ve taken all of 10 seconds for a line like that and they wouldn’t really have to make any adjustments to the script, but NOOOOO! We can’t have romance in THIS show, now can we? Even though their ENTIRE INTRODUCTORY EPISODE was about them getting married and how much they loved each other. And while I’m at it, why didn’t Shining Armor try to make Twilight feel better early on in part 1 of “Twilight’s Kingdom?” Why was his only role in the episode to get Worfed and then have his magic restored later, and not even having him worried about what might happen to Cadance if Tirek showed up (which he did).
God-freaking-DAMMIT, writers. Stop wasting Shining Armor’s character already!
How could you think Shining and Spike have a brotherly bond when Shining only spoke to Spike once in the entire show?
I just wish that they made this kind of joke with Shining Armor, since I always figured that the two of them had a bit of a brotherly bond. But that’s never going to happen, because that would require Shining Armor to actually get some development to his character.
No, I’m not still bitter about him getting all of 2 minutes of screen time in all of season 4 and not even getting mentioned in “Three’s a Crowd.” Whatever gave you that idea?
