Description
The tombstone in front of you marked the grave of Apple Jack, a member of Troop E, 3rd US Cavalry. At the age of 26, Apple Jack was retired from service and left to live his days at the QM Remount Depot at Front Royal, Virginia. He was described as “[An] exceptional jumper, both in regular and trick jumping… well schooled, a grand field service horse… Now at liberty with the 2-year olds in pasture, where his quiet intelligent stability furnishes an excellent example for the youngsters to follow.” Apple Jack was buried at the horse cemetery at Front Royal in 1938.

Being tagged ‘applejack” is wrong as it’s not her and it has to have the ‘not pony related’ tag at lest, but some don’t seem to get that.

So, to follow your logic, if a horse named Rainbow Dash won the Preakness in 1978, and someone posted a link to an article about it, that wouldn’t be pony related either?
I mean sure, you’d be right that it’s not a reference, but the fact that it exists is still going to make MLP fans giggle.
No, the name of the horse is Apple Jack, and it has nothing to do with the pony, NOT PONY RELATED.
But this is a gravestone with Applejack’s name on it. Your argument would only make sense if this gravestone was blank, but it isn’t.

Maybe I’ll carve Applejack’s name into an apple and post that, just to test that theory.
