I think the artist is trying to tell us how NOT to make an OC/fan-character, seeing how it’s coming off as kinda facetious.

(And yes, I’m aware many other fanbases have OCs/fan-characters constantly being made to, not just those two. Even some you wouldn’t expect. In fact, my screen-name is loosely based off an old “Star Fox 64” OC I had as a kid. Back when SF64 was still popular, many people on Star Fox sites had a Star Fox OC/character.)
