One time I tried reheating a small pile of frozen corn in the microwave and it sparked like crazy.

You know what’s a cool thing to microwave? Green grapes. Don’t microwave them whole, you’ll just make a mess.
 
What you do is you cut a nice, large grape in half so the two pieces are still attached by the skin. Place in the microwave, cut side down, and turn it on for about 20 seconds. After about 5 seconds, electricity will arc between the two halves. Because grapeskin is so delicate, the force of the sparking will tear the two halves apart, thus severing the connection, but it’s fun to watch while it lasts.

Did you know that if you microwave aluminum foil you get a lightsnow? Ruins the microwave, but it looks pretty cool.

I microwaved a bar of soap once. Boiling hot foam sprayed out of one corner and coated the inside of the microwave. It was a bitch to clean up, but at least the microwave sparkled like new when I was done!
