You need to take an entire class. Though I am literally a university mathematics instructor, no few quips from me can begin to address your apparent endemic and systemic statistical misconceptions and associated mis-inferences/associations. Thanks for the chat; be well.

>Didn’t even explain what makes the score split an “anomaly” as you say
Also: “You were accidentally insightful, and accidentally successfully answered (or at least posed a very plausible explanatory hypothesis for) my observation/question.”
>This much blatant hand waving without even (again as I stated before) explaining why.
Learn statistics.
You were accidentally insightful, and accidentally successfully answered (or at least posed a very plausible explanatory hypothesis for) my observation/question.
“It is only that your first comment was statistically devoid of absolutely any insight. Your second comment,”
Is it now?
My main point against the statements
and 2) but with dozens of voters on each image, the difference is a huge statistical anomaly.
is that the upvotes/fave count are largely, but not completely, based upon opportunity and timing and as such the score split isn’t much of an anomaly. As a matter of fact if you look down below you’ll see that only user that faved both images is a user called “can” (Not even Roboshi faved this one and faving is his thing). Now sure there are far more users who have viewed the image than the 69 who voted, but not every image viewed by a user is voted by said user, not every image that is voted is voted upon based on it’s image (some upvote or downvote based on comments), and not every user is a unique person (some people have multiple accounts for organization reason, RPing, etc).
Actually, your comment about different nationalities being on derpibooru at different times, together with the fact that an image is on the front page and acquires almost all of its votes over the course of only a certain period of time and the fact that different regions likely have different perspectives on the topic, is a good explanatory hypothesis. Well done; pardon. It is only that your first comment was statistically devoid of absolutely any insight. Your second comment, however, presents an excellent and insightful explanatory hypothesis.
Learn statistics.
Is it? For the “dozens of votes” line to work doesn’t it need a consistent base i.e. the same users or most of the same users?
Heck the user base massively changes every couple of hours as one country sleeps and another wakes up.
Obviously different people have different opinions, but with dozens of voters on each image, the difference is a huge statistical anomaly.
Different users having different opinions. Not everyone who sees this image has seen the one you posted.
they remembered the first pic and realized this is just a mirrored image of the first one?
People hate pink?
Why does this image have score -27, while >>235948 has score +25?
Q. What’s the difference between a radical Muslim and a moderate Muslim?
A. A radical Muslim wants to behead you. A moderate Muslim wants a radical Muslim to behead you.
To be fair, those incur drama, too. But with Aryanne it gets spread out over many, many pictures, so it’s kinda spread thin. Then there was the whole “Down with Molestia” shenanigan. And once again, there’s just so much grimdark that it’s spread thin and most people have just learned to avoid it if they don’t like it.
But has sparked some conversation on crap going down in Europe.
Islam. Gotta love it. Sha’ria law nations such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Iran will execute homosexuals, yet for some reason it’s considered politically incorrect to voice any disapproval of Islam. But hey, then again, they are so peaceful that they totally won’t murder you if you draw a comic with Muhammad having a bomb in his turban.
the world is weird in some cases
Okay then.
Well, this is the point where you have to actually stop being “tollerant” to everything and set some borders on what we tolerate and not…
And no, not everyone is supporting it, its the governments (at least in western europe) that gives immigrants from middle east social benefits for living.
Like they aren’t aware they are on verge of losing autonomy (if they haven’t given it out already by joining European Union :))
Sad, but true…
its already like that.
and everyone are supporting it.
if you say otherwise you will get in trouble.
Europe wants muslims to take over, and they are working hard to make it happen.
Calm down now Maggot.
Love and peace if the way too go my friend.

And Shyay like this is a big chunk of the reason why.
I dunno, though. That eye hole is immodestly large. Perhaps this should be “questionable” or “suggestive” for showing that much skin???
