I still have a number of Windows 95 game discs, but the software that was supposed to allow me to play them on a modern O.S. didn’t work. I got the 1st anniversary remake of the original Descent at a yard sale and have never been able to play it. So tantalizing.
As far as I know Skifree predates 95. I think I remember playing it on Windows 3.1 on my cousin’s old PC back in the mid-90s. That and Chip’s Challenge (I still wanna someday get the flat “bummer…” sound from that game,) and this one Domino’s game for DOS where you have to avoid Noids.
And I see the yeti is by far the most popular Skifree character on Derpibooru. Though in this drawing he looks more like a Salad Fingers character to me.
Now all we need is an Extreme Paintbrawl crossover. That’s the only game I still have for windows 95.

I’ve managed to outrun it before, but then another Yeti appeared, and ate me.
The creator of the game admitted this was intentional to end the game, if you continued sking to long after you beat the course.
@RAMMSTEIN45
Windows 95 had some of the best games… Seems like all we ever get nowadays is “Minesweeper,” and generic card games that come with our computers…
I miss “Rattly Race,” “Ski Free,” “Rodent’s Revenge,” and such.

DAMMIT NOT AGAIN! SCREW THIS I’m going back to Battle Tanx.
I do know this near-unavoidable “Abominable Snowman”. Skifree’s 90’s graphic is worth a game, no?
Well it apparently came out when I was 8 but I still don’t remember it. I only know what it is because of an Xkcd comic.
