I know, but would a little variety kill people? I can’t help but think an ofuda (I looked it up) style paper talisman could be a nice change of pace.
Most people just magic suppression rings.

I think bondage for an alicorn or anything at a similar or higher tier power-wise should involve something along the lines of those Japanese spirit-sealing talisman paper thingies, either stuck on the forehead, or a long cloth that works similarly and can also be used for the bondage itself.
Cloth is stuffed in one’s mouth, and covered by another cloth to keep it in place. Though, yes, I’ve not seen Radiant do such. :T
That is one of my only beefs with the artist. Well, that and that cloth gags used this way don’t really work.
I still love his art though.
I’ll give you Sunset and Trixie (though Trixie you could keep docile with flattery, so probably not as much of an issue), but at the point you’re trying to snatch up alicorns, you better have more than just rope and cloth in the first place. Chains forged from the hair of a titan or something, probably. Or at least some sort of power-drain thing.
So should the individuals who have kidnapped Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Trixie, Sunset,
and Mega Absol. :\Also, she can just untie herself with her magic. You should maybe think of wrapping her horn in tinfoil or something.
