EQ1 Spike was awesome, and exactly how they should’ve kept him in the series.

This picture reminds me of one of the reasons I liked the first Equestria Girls movie. Not only was Spike NOT the butt monkey, he was Twilight’s voice of reason and supplier of sharp wit. And it definitely captured the unbreakable bond that they share.
