Have you seen Equestria Girls: The Parody Series by ZXInsanity (with additional episodes by Blarghalt and JakeWhyman)? They actually use a humanized Luna that has her pony colours. It looks TERRIBLE (granted that is the point of the series). The dark fur completely obscures any facial features and the lack of contrast with her hair makes her look like a blue blob.
 
They can get away with that for regular Luna because a Pony’s eyes and mouth are so much larger. Also the lack of clothes. With humanoids, things must be altered to make it less garish. Many bolder-coloured ponies had their skin-tones lightened, not just her and Big Mac.
 
You are trying to play some twisted version of the race card in what is 100% a good artistic move. Learn about colour theory and then see if you’re willing to spout your drivel. Until then, just pipe down.

You know, being princess of the night is kinda bad for the tan…

I hate Princess Luna’s EG design. She looks nothing like Luna. They took the literal dark horse (even s1 luna was pretty dark compared to other ponies) and made her with this light skin. She is princess of night! She is meant to have a dark look.
