technically the shine in the eye doesn’t move with the pupil. it’s a reflection that stays the same angle as long as the light source being reflected doesn’t move. they simulate this in the show by having the shine be on the left when the eye is looking right, and on the right when the eye is looking left, and also by having the characters conveniently blink every time they look a different direction.

this probably makes drawing dazzle’s eyes animate a lot harder, but at least it doesn’t look like a creepy second pupil inside the pupil.
