That YotG MP Soundwave have some horrible, HORRIBLE colors. Why butterscotch and clear? Why? Why not completely clear?

Decepticon Intel Officer Soundwave has become more mobile in his alt modes overtime: stealth jet, killer satellite, four-wheeled automobile, spy plane…, just as Megatron was an immobile gun (which got Masterpiece and Legends updates), then dinosaur, dragon, panzer tank, space fighter, four-wheeled automobile, truck (Dark of the Moon)… Give Soundwave character, the same level and depth as Armada Starscream, and we’re done.
 
As for the CD, MP3 player, karaoke box, whatever entertainment set mode, they are most likely (or have become) bonus modes if you tinker with the toy/s long enough. Example:

Hell yeah!

Y’know, if they ever bring Soundwave back, they might have to upgrade him to a CD, or MP3 player, as cassette tapes are no longer made. (Are they? I never see them in stores anymore.)
