Y’know, I’m not the most major Megaman fan, (I only started getting into the original games in recent years, never played them as a kid) but I did get “Megaman IV” (Gameboy version) from the Megaman anniversary Eshop sale, sense I had some Eshop money left over to buy/download it. (It was on sale cheaper then it normally was for a few days back in December.)  
It’s surprisingly good, and the first Gameboy Megaman game I played that’s as good as the NES games.
 
It was also said to be the first MM game to have the “item shop” feature. (Also despite the title, and reusing bosses from MM4 & MM5, it’s a completely different game from the NES MM4 game. Same with the other MM Gameboy games. In fact in Japan it’s titled differently from the NES versions.)
