Eh, people assume a lot. It’s called headcanon. I mean Blaze has a sort of rainbow mane. Maybe multicolored mane runs in the family and Rainbow’s is the only one with the colors in the correct order. Though at the same time, that line of thinking takes a bit away from Rainbow’s uniqueness.
But it is generic due to the constant rainbow-mane that I’ve seen being used in every child but for the exception of one or two. And while that’s great that her coat’s a bit closer to her grandfather, she’s basically a carbon-copy. And assuming makes an ass out of you and me.
That’s just it. Unless you’re going for G1 baby is clone of mommy technique. There isn’t a single child in FiM who looks exactly like their parent. There are definitely similarities but there are always key differences. Sweetie Belle and Rarity don’t look exactly like their mom and dad but you can see similarities.
I mean I’ll even counter Vermi right now and say that this isn’t a generic Dash spawn clone. Because her coat color is closer to Rainbow Blaze. In fact if you find a pic of her drawn by the original artist, Rocker is hardly blue. She’s..a pale grayish-purple color. We can just assume the rainbow mane is a dominant gene in Rainbow’s bloodline.
The fact that her mane is just Dash’s in reverse caaan be seen as a bit sketch. But I’m willing to let it slide. But that’s just my opinion.
Pretty sure Cloud Rocker is das female.

It’s possible to make a child of Rainbow Dash without making it exactly like her.
Try taking after RD’s parents, maybe? If you think Firefly is the mom, the child could have a pink coat or blue mane, or Rainbowshine with her purple mane if you think she’s the mom. There’s also Rainbow Blaze (RD’s dad) where the child could inherit his yellow eyes and darker coat.
Simply reversing the color pattern in the mane is lazy. This OC looks exatly like every other SoarinDash OC.
Almost as if it’s a Rainbow Dash offspring.
