At least in my area, I never saw Link until recently. Saw a Toon Link awhile back in one store far from me.
I’ve seen 2 Mega Mans before, but never saw a Sonic anywhere.
So Link is starting to become scarce?
I found a Sonic and a Mega Man in one Gamestop one time.
I’d like to get one of those too, but I can’t decide on which color.
You never know, I saw a Link amiibo for the first time ever, and those are very rare in my area.
I have Diddy Kong, and Pac Man. I wouldn’t mind getting Dr. Mario, ROB, and Duck Hunt when they come out. Maybe even Sonic too, (if I can ever find him) as I feel he needs a li’l more love.
I think my most wanted Amiibo however would be one of the 8-bit-style 30th anniversary Marios. Don’t care which color I get.
I’ll believe it when I start seeing those Amiibos in my local stores.
I saw an article about it on NintendoLife (an unofficial fan-news site, but it’s news is usually quite accurate) that even showed a link to some website showing all the Amiibos that were ordered. So you never know.
I don’t know, I rather liked “Gyromite” personally, it’s fun even without a ROB. (Plus has some good 8-bit music by “Hip” Tanaka.)
Good luck finding a pack. I’m just glad I got mine.
And I’m having a hard time believing Nintendo about restocking the hard to find Amiibos.
That’s actually an interesting idea! But I doubt Nintendo would do it since ROB’s games weren’t very good in the long run.
I waaaaaant it! I hear they’re going to restock it soon though sense it sold out.
Would be cool if they made a VC version of “Gyromite,” and you could use the ROB amiibo with it.
WAY AHEAD OF YOU. The moment I heard about the Game & Watch, Duck Hunt and ROB combo pack, I reserved that in a heart beat!
Y’mean, the Ebay Scalpers? Better get the 3-pack only available at GameStop too.
I wish i knew, but I’m definitely going to reserve her! I won’t let those scalpers have their way with her.
That can possibly work for Applejack.
I can also imagine Applejack having a hatless model/costume/color-scheme as a nod to her G1-counterpart, maybe make her a slightly different shade of orange to, and have her hair look like the G1 version’s with a ribbon on her tail.
(Kinda like how some characters like Wario, Zero-suit Samus, and Shulk have an alternate costume, not just color schemes.)
And her Alt trophy will use her G1 palette.
And like SSB pallette swaps, there’s 8 of them, and some of them reference something. (Like “Twilight’s Mom,” and “Twilight Scepter.”) Also, her trophy will have this pose.
That’s exactly what came to my mind! Especially since I have a MLP & SSB crossover idea.
