I’m just referring to the onee-chan/-san status of Maud Pie for some awkward reason. Didn’t mention Rarity since she already had worn that powerup costume courtesy of artist CheckerboardAZN.
And yes, really.
Maud Pie? Really? Satsuki is probably the second or third loudest/hammiest character in the show (after Gamagoori and maybe Mako when she’s doing her Hallelujah speeches)

How about Applejack or Maud Pie, or Trixie?
Actually, I think Luna would work as Ryuko. It’s not perfect but think about it.
Luna has been shown to have a short temper and an anti-social streak a mile wide.
Compare that to her sister who is both taller, more clean cut, and believes in upholding order.
Plus the white vs black/navy blue color scheme.
Again, not perfect but there you go.
