I agree, in fact, honestly I felt Twilight had more screen-time/focus in Season 1 then she did in Season 4 honestly. She was literally in every Season 1 episode, but ironically wasn’t in every S4 ep’, yet oddly Twi’-haters are still claiming she’s getting all the spotlight, or this is the “Twilight Sparkle Show”… (Heck, even Sunset Shimmer even upstaged her in the “Rainbow Rocks” movie.)
 
Heck her new “princess” status that ironically made alot of drama, barely even was regarded during the season, or changed the status-quo’ at all. (Except in the first ep’, and last few eps.) Heck, she couldn’t even get a taxi in Manehatten.

Twilight was always the main character. How about you whip up a screen time chart and see how much she got compared to the others in Season 1? She’s always been the focus, especially of the two-parters.

That’s what happens when you break the character dynamic by elevating one main character above the others in every conceivable way under the painfully transparent pretext of character development.
 
And then you completely ignore it instead of trying to work it into the narrative in a believable way.

The season in which Twilight barely did anything between the first two and last two episodes has her cause way more drama than everyone else?

Glad to know that the total amount of drama in season 4 is approximately 1/6 of total amount of drama in season 1.

What is being measured?

Again, Derpy’s chart size would eclipse all of these.
