C: No!
R: Yes! He was holding the ring up, I was so overwhelmed I couldn’t answer, and his tongue just darted out! His eyes got the size of dinner plates and he refused to let go, and ended up in a sort of tug-of-war with his own tongue.
C: I can totally see that happening.
R: Well, I could hardly answer in the middle of that, right? So there he is, yanking on his tongue, spinning out of control, until he crashes into the dessert cart and sends a cake flying straight at me. It was like the Gala all over again.
C: Bwa ha ha!
R: So there he was on the floor, having finally pried his tongue off the ring and he was just staring at me, covered in cake. I stomped over to him, growling as low as I could, ‘Spiiiiiike…’ and he just froze. Completely. I kept glaring and leaned down until I was only an inch away from his face, and then… I finally said yes.
C: Ha ha ha! Oh god! Please, I can’t breathe! Ha ha!
R: It was– the look on his face! Ha ha ha!
S: oh my god seriously come on.
Well, Celestia is dancing because she’s known Spike his entire life. It’s like her son getting engaged. Rarity’s just the only other pony excitable enough to join in.
