Because I’m sick and twisted.
Pinkie ended up not killing Dash when she harvested some of her lesser vital organs, and kept her in her torture basement for years, subjecting her to torments and horrors other ponies would drop dead at. Now with the Cakes out of the picture (who ran to Canterlot due to the murder spree) Dashie is allowed a windowless, soundproof room upstairs, although she’s rather empty in the head now.
And in the middle of this, a little… rape baby was born. Ignorant of the horrifying past of her mothers, Cloud Icing simply accepts her mother being “sick” and Pinkie “taking” care of her. So far the murders have stopped, and so Cloud goes to school like any other filly. Her future talent will either being baking, cloud kicking, or using clouds in baking.
