Numerous theories about how powerful Twilight is compared to Celestia. Some say more, some say less. ALL of them inconclusive because of lacking evidence, which will probably be the case indefinitely.
 
For all the discussions on how strong Twilight, Rainbow, or Pinkie is compared to all dem Gods, I strongly assume the focus will stay on the strength of Friendship. Though, discussions on the power levels of the mane cast are entertaining, they are very likely meaningless if not now in the future, but that still does not lessen their fun factor. :)

The Father-Son Kamehameha Wave nor the Goku x Gohan x Goten version require another family member to unleash. They require a SSJ of near equal power and since every other SSJ is dead and Vegeta is incapable of that level of strength until GT, Goku’s family are the only ones who can.
 
Therefore, the same principles could apply to Mario and Sonic dual-attacking with a Ground Pound and whatever Sonic’s is called respectively. Or Ryu and Ken’s dual Shoryuken. Or Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne’s dual Look-At-My-Massive-Jawline status affliction whenever they’re in the same room. X3
