What is one’s marriage and future happiness compared to the life of an old woman that will die anyway in a few years?

I like Spider-Man I really do but it feels IMO that he has the worst storylines in comic book history.
I know there’s a lot of arcs people could point out that are really dumb that have nothing to do Spider-Man but overall for constantly having bad storylines Pete seems to be at the top.
DUMBEST THING EVER!!!
Peter visits Dr. Strange who is both the Sorcerer Supreme and a surgeon and there’s nothing he can do for May.
But he does use he’s magic to let Peter be in multiple places across the world at the same time to ask everyone from Beast to Reed Richard to even Doom and Doc Ock and not a single one of them can cure a gunshot wound.
also, I’m sure there where easier ways to save Aunt May then a deal with the devil.
Couldn’t SHEILD or Iron Man, or Dr Strange or whatever do something to help?
So, he didn’t do it for love, he did it because he couldn’t bear to face the consequences of his actions. Consequences he KNEW would happen if he performed the actions he did (namely publicly revealing himself to be Spider-Man) but did them anyways.
I know, even I admit if it was done right OMD could of worked and I hate it because of how much I loved Peter and Mary relationship, Sin’s Past I hate twice as muc, and I have a heck of a lot hate for OMD.
Neither should’ve Sin’s Past. Because at least with OMD I always hear the “It could’ve worked” response when trying to be positive about it.
Sin’s Past basically ruined Gwen Stacy’s character, Gave us a dumber reason to hate Osborn since The Clone Saga, & The original concept would never work to begin with.
No one said it was the worst, just that it shouldn’t of happened.
