They fixed that in G3.5. Rainbow Dash is beautiful there.
To me, the “dahling” thing was overdone with G3 Dash.
Don’t get me wrong, Venus Terzo is a superb VA, and I was fine with that being Dash’s “thing”, but it could’ve been cut back a little, IMO.
I liked G3 Rainbow Dash saying dahling, dahling, granted she’s no Minty, but one can hardly hold that against her.
Eh, it just feels like every tiny bit of fanon (and meme) eventually results in people needing to say how much they dislike it. Even when people don’t care. Admittedly this is a very mild example, and drama is probably a bit too strong a phrase, but I just don’t see how this is any different than a Deviantart stamp saying “I don’t like X”.
We even have tags for blocking most of them.
My comment was more one of exasperation, at this attitude.
Oh come now the last comment before yours was an hour ago and the comment section hasn’t even gotten to two pages.
“Fanon drama”
Soarin with pie.
Scootaloo with chicken jokes.
Same old song and dance.
“I will take a potato chip… AND EAT IT!”

>Moderation
Hahaha you say that like these things are made in their quantity on purpose.
Think about it this way:
>Artist 1 sees artist 2 make a Sonata+Taco, Shining+corndog, derpy+muffin etc.
>Artist want to make one too, not to copy what artist 2 did, but to make their own version, interpretation, add their own spin so to speak.
>Artist makes the image.
>Artist uses same subject to make different image.
Now apply that to multitude of artists in the fandom adding the number of people who will make jokes about it. The end result is a large sum of images and jokes
The people aren’t doing this purposely; it happens because we’re a big fandom.
Seriously, you’re all allowed to hate it, but no one gives a shit if you do.
Actually, scratch that, it’s a general thing of the internet.
Same reason lyra likes humans?
>the fandom doesn’t understand moderation.
Any fandom really.
This fandom has always taken one incredibly irrelevant thing a character has said and run it so hard into the ground it becomes painful every time you see it (20% cooler, muffins, taco tuesday, ext…).
Basically, the fandom doesn’t understand moderation.
She mentioned them rather enthusiastically in the film, and that was a good enough gimmick to get mileage out of.
@Ilsor
I wasn’t aware people really cared about G3 Dash doing anything beyond being G4 Rarity, let alone dislike it.
Umm… it’s G3?
@gittonsxv
The same thing happened with other, they do something once ans it’s the thing it becomes a huge thing, it just happens.
Because of the extremely eager way she said it, I guess.
i want someone to explain why she mentioned tacos like once and suddenly that is a huge part of the fandom for no reason.
