For example, if she puts it in a box, and next time Fluttershy ponies up, it appears in the box, this would show that it isn’t created and destroyed each time she ponies up.
 
Also I’d like to weigh her, though that will probably prove pointless since they float.
 
And have her try to lay down and on her side as she ponies up. Gravity is a geometric property of space time that you shouldn’t be able to shield against - gravity is inertia, so to fight it, it must be an active acceleration. I’d like to try to somehow identify that acceleration, and see where the energy is coming from.

Well no, how would that work? :) Way I see it (this is just my interpretation), the feather would just…crumble to dust or something in her hand the moment it was plucked out; it’d simply cease to exist.

The way I see it, if the wings disappear with all the other pony parts after they finish “ponying up”, then logically a wing feather should vanish the moment it is plucked from the ponied-up person.
 
Same thing would happen if she tried to take, say, horn scrapings . >_>

The wings disappear after they’re done with the “pony up” thing, right? So what happens if you take a feather off? Will the feather remain after the wings disappear?
