now, no need to be so quickly dismissive about that..  
if there was a thing I did indeed like about that finale it was Tirek’s line after he betrayed Discord, he sounded very bitter about his brother when he told Discord the origins of that necklace and if you looked closely to his face, he looked kind of frustrated about it too.
 
Idk, it’s just that to me, Tirek’s facial expressions gave me Prince of Egypt vibes, more specifically, some similarities to Ramses.
 

Sadly, Tirek proved that he didn’t care.
