Plus, the animation in the HUD during Crazy Diamond’s GHA in ASB might not translate too well to EoH, correct? :j

Actually, when an opponent has < 20% health, you can initiate a takedown as any character, the downside is that you are vulnerable during that time, meaning you can be interrupted and you can fail a synchronized quick-time event. If you fail, the opponent gets back up and you lose some health (they don’t get healed though, not even bosses).

Apparently, one of the new functions in EoH is the ゴゴゴ Meter. Josuke uses it when he gets one of his opponents in the red (maybe; I don’t care). The player charges a meter while ゴ’s fly over the screen, then once the meter is maxed out both players have the opportunity to either attack or counter using a button press, but the attack response time is longer and earlier than the opponent’s counter. Of course, the move used is the same as his GHA in ASB.
 
Success means all the damaged Crazy Diamond healed is negated before using “DORARARARA!!!”. Failure, I would imagine would be the opponent survives with all his/her injuries healed, but whether or not that’s true is still unknown.
