These are good points. I’m thinking we could maybe make these collapsible sections that begin collapsed and use AJAX to dynamically load in the content if the user chooses to actually expand the tab. Probably a little less load on the server, too. We’ll see what’s doable.

Extra images like in the related images could kill mobile phone usage on the site. That’s a lot more to download that can put you over a bandwidth cap or take a lot of time.

It’s like what RepentantAnon said, I don’t want them there if it adds to the load time and I don’t care about them, so it really does get in the way from that stand point.with it

Well, I hope the site doesn’t crack like an egg under the foot of an elephant coated in iron with a truck full of anvils sits atop of it.

Yeah, the stats/related images sections do go at the very bottom of the page so I’m not sure why you’d feel a desperate need to hid them. They don’t get in the way of the other page content.
 
@ZORDON: The original users of derpibooru basically are the admin team. There were very few other browsers of the site. Most of us also used ponibooru in the first place, although way less involved than you guys. Derpibooru started as a project in the first place because we were getting tired with how terrible ponibooru’s performance was and wanted to write a more efficient system.
 
So don’t worry about us being able to hack it; we’ve been taken somewhat by surprise and we figured we’d have more time to prepare for you guys, but we’ll manage, once everyone gets used to it.

And of course we’re going to be importing 40k images from PB tomorrowish.

Maybe we’ll add an option later. Comment tracking is coming. PMs, we’re not sure on thus far.

Things will start getting normal (by ponibooru standards) after all the past image uploading is done.

I’m actually more concerned for the original users of Derpibooru. I can easily adapt to this, but I don’t know if they are as, uh, “strange” as us Poniboorians are, or if they will adapt to so many people.

my main issue is that i still havent found a way to track my commented pictures other than upvoting them. also the doesnt seem to be a PM system
