I’ve been a furry fan for over 20 years now. I think I know what a furry is.
Well I took a look at the tag earlier and it seemed to mostly be used on non-pony anthropomorphic characters rather than human fans of such characters, but I took a second closer look and noticed it was on a lot of regular pony images as well. So it looks like that tag needs a lot of cleanup and possibly a forum discussion.
I know which one.

i believe we should use “furry” to refer to the fans themselves, not the anthros.
It’s for use when there are anthros that aren’t ponies.
