@PonyPon
I always thought of the students in Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns to be like those kids that get perfect math and science scores on their SATs, while Twilight Sparkle is like John von Neumann.

She would Not be on Twilight or Sunsets level. Just a regular gifted Unicorn in some yet to be reveled magic that was enrolled in Celestia’s university.
@Background Pony Number 17
I’m willing to settle for a former student of Celestias royal school for gifted unicorns who’s interest in the happiness of her fellow ponies once got her the popular eye of her peers but her beliefs about harmony and cutiemarks soon turned radical and saw Celestia and her ideas of harmony as inefficient and or stagnant.
And after a viscous public debate between her and Celesetia in which she ran out of in outrage,she self exiled herslef from society and started her own small Utopian social covert as was a popular idea of radical collage students in the late 1800s.
If she’s a former student of Celly’s, then between her and Sunset, I’m wondering just how many of Celestia’s students have turned to evil? Maybe we can get a whole season of students turned evil as villains, ending with Twilight wondering if she’s next.

She’s fine. She going at 2-1.
American Idol much?
Let’s hope the writers don’t go there; it’d only end in a running joke about Celestia having horrible judgment in proteges.
Now that you mention it, I too notice this. I hope it’s intentional, because I like it too.
…And the only one who finds it adorable?
Yes.
She’s the first adversary in Season 5.
